3P and Cape Fear Bird Observatory are partnering to provide a free bird hike.

During the walk, we will learn about the ecosystem, birds that reside in the area and those that migrate, and ongoing restoration work in Burnt Mill Creek, and have a chance to see some of the 180+ Bird species identified  in the park this year. Registration is required to secure a set of binoculars.

Tips:

-dress in layers

-bring any birding books or binoculars you have

-wear comfortable shoes (the trail is sand)
